Our Mission

The Caspian-Pacific Foundation is a cross-regional think tank committed to fostering deeper connectivity between the Caspian Basin and the Asia-Pacific region through evidence-based policy research, high-level dialogue, and strategic collaboration. We aim to advance regional understanding, support sustainable development, and shape informed policy solutions by bridging geopolitical, economic, and cultural perspectives across Eurasia and the Pacific.

Our Approach

The growing strategic importance of Caspian–Asia-Pacific relations, particularly in areas such as energy security, infrastructure connectivity, digital transformation, and geopolitical realignment, was observed through direct regional engagement. In response to a clear gap in institutional focus on this transcontinental nexus, the Caspian-Pacific Foundation was established to bridge this divide through interdisciplinary research, strategic dialogue, and forward-looking policy innovation.

History

The Caspian-Pacific Foundation was established in 2024 in response to the growing strategic interdependence between the Caspian Basin and the Asia-Pacific region. Its founding vision emerged from years of academic, diplomatic, and business engagement across Eurasia, recognizing the need for a dedicated platform to analyze and shape the evolving dynamics linking these two pivotal regions.
