The region comprises Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Rich in natural resources and increasingly important as a hub for trade, energy, and transportation, Central Asia has emerged as a focal point of geopolitical competition, regional connectivity, and economic transformation. Initiatives such as the Middle Corridor, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and expanding regional cooperation have further elevated the region's global strategic significance.

CASPAC provides a comprehensive analysis of the political, economic, security, and strategic developments shaping the region. Our research examines regional diplomacy, governance, economic diversification, energy security, transportation and logistics, water and environmental challenges, digital transformation, infrastructure development, and the growing engagement of external powers, including China, Russia, Türkiye, the European Union, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and the Gulf states. Particular attention is given to Central Asia's expanding role in Eurasian connectivity and its interactions with the South Caucasus, East Asia, South Asia, West Asia, Europe, and the broader Indo-Pacific.
